Tips in Leading the Seamless Life™
#9 - Building The Bridge:
From Purpose and Vision to Mission
For those journeying toward The SeamLess Life™ path, we're now entering
exciting and also potentially dangerous territory. You've arrived at the point
of now being unable to "unknow" what you are beginning to clearly know. Be
warned now -- declaring yourself and your personal commitments to your future
lead you to a sense of adventure you will miss if you turn back. So, part of
your preparation for this time also needs to be a huge capacity for patience
and also self-forgiveness as the path can be bumpy and uphill some days.
This is why it's so very important to have "a plan" such as you are developing
-- and also a support system. You want people in your life to remember clearly
who you are and what you are up to when and if YOU forget. You probably will
-- but it won't last long now that you're clearly becoming more in touch with
your personal power of purpose.
Dr. Caroline Myss introduces us to another serendipitous type of danger she
says can kick in at just about this point, as well. She says once we make such
a "stand for us" all our angels alert, get up off their celestial couches with
true glee, rush to our side, and begin to help us clear the path -- wanted or
not! However, angels are a little hard-of-hearing and they mainly hear their
"call to action" and mainly miss the point if we change our mind. This could
be the basis for the famous statement: "Be careful what you ask for -- as you
could get it."
Purpose/Vision endeavors to sweep out the fog along the way and eliminate the
danger of that "if you don't know where you are going, any road (and any
timeline), will do."
Instead, from here on you'll have the distinct advantage of insights about the
future world you DON'T want to create -- and that one you are moving away
FROM. This is now your Push-Power. We called it the wind at your back and
Laurie Beth Jones has named it your "escape velocity." This along with your
Pull-Power is the value of your Vision which is the natural attraction of your
destination.
Your advantages:
- your Escape Velocity -- your fiery sense of what happens without change
- reverse magnetism -- the draw of the invaluable reverse force to help
prevent fall-backs when a vision pursuit become cloudy or uphill
With Vision and Purpose striding strongly at your side, what's your next step
into your future? We say it's Mission. We'll also weave in along the way full
use of your attributes (we've been identifying as your gifts), benefits (to
you and others), touchstones (signals and clues all is coming together), and your personal credo.
All of this is about personal motivation -- playing a big game in your life.
To prepare for venturing into Mission with us next week,
go back, review and
revalidate for yourself your top Values.
Take a fresh look at your
Purpose and
the elements of your Vision.
Rejoin us next week for the next leg of the
quest.
