New Age Spirituality
New Age Spirituality is all about getting your power back. Not that you ever lost it. Sometimes you gave your power away, misplaced it, or forgot you had power in the first place.
- New Age pertains to the Age of Aquarius, which we have just entered.
- An “Age” lasts 2000 years and denotes an evolutionary change of consciousness in humanity for the good of all.
- Astrologers refers to the last “Age” as the Piscean Age, symbolized by the fish.
- The energy that entered the earth plane during the Piscean Age was Agape (brotherly and sisterly love), love of one human being for another, simply because each is worthy of love, because we are all part of the human family.
- Christ brought this love-energy to our world. It has taken the entire Age to “get it.”
- The Age of Aquarius is simply an evolution in human thinking. This time the message expands to: “not only are we brothers and sisters…we are one.” The “other” is an illusion. All is one.
- New Age Spirituality asks that each person take responsibility for everything that happens in life, because everything in life is connected.
- We must learn to love ourselves; for out of love for one’s self, comes love for others.
- When we confront our feelings of hatred and anger, and understand the causes, we can change the feelings, or even let them go. To use a New Age term – we are “raising our consciousness” about our unconscious perceptions of who we are, a child of God.
- Peace for the world begins with peace and balance within ourselves.
- The best way to create inner peace is to go within. Meditate. Connect with your God- Source. Meditation is the art of listening to God while in an altered state of consciousness (slowed down brain-waves).
- By connecting with your God-Source you receive answers to any questions you might pose. You come to realize you truly are a child of God, and therefore a co-creator.
- You do not need a priest or minister to intercede for you. They recognize you no longer need them in the same way you did in the past. They also recognize they can no longer control you, through guilt or fear. Is it any wonder New Age Spirituality frightens religious leaders?
The Age of Aquarius, symbolized by the water-bearer, is full upon us. It is time to take back your power. It is time to remember you had it all along.
